They love to sit up high and tease him, making him run around and bark at them, but I have also seen a cat sleep right on the same bed as him, so I believe he will be fine living with cats. He is a dear, loving little dog who really needs a lap of his own. Coming from the mill he was terrified, but he is perfectly ok with me now, and will let other people come up to pet him and even pick him up. He will need a little time to get to know new surroundings and people, but once he trusts you he is a lover! He is playful, and loves playing with me and the other dogs. He is very social with them and I often see him washing one's face, or snuggling up to one of them. I think it would good for him to have a home with other canine companions. We have a dog door that goes out to the yard, so he is used to going out whenever he wants to. Cheeky really is a fine little dog and will make a great pet!* Cute little boy .......Seeking a future as a housedog! Already having withstood pain, deprivation and a hard lonely life of an animal kept for breeding, these mill survivors deserve a chance!! Cheeko was brought to foster care straight from a commercial breeding facility in MO. He was very nervous at first, but wanted so badly to like people that he soon started to come around. To love and trust were in his sights and by golly he has grown into a loving and darling little boy. He progress in foster care has been incredible and he will make a fine little pet in a small dog all adult home. He loves to have his now gorgeous coat petted and is an energetic, beautiful, funny little soul, who greets you with lots of tail wagging, and recently even some barks! He is looking for that special lap to call his own. housetraining kicking off well!! This guy would not be considered for shipping.This great little boy is available for a donation of$125. Cheekys birthday is 1/29/05 and he weighs about 15 pounds, lots of fluff!!
