The adopter is the alpha member of the pack, and the dog or puppy needs as much one-on-one contact with the alpha as possible. For this reason, all CCAS dogs are adopted to inside homes only. Thank you for understanding we want only the best for the dogs we place in your home. Charlie is a beautiful brindle mountain cur mix boy. We think he has some plott hond in him, but we aren't sure of the breeds. He has been mistreated all of his life, and now he's looking for his real forever family who will protect him and make sure he will never be abused again. This boy is loyal and sweet, and very forgiving although he is still a little wary of some men. He gets along well with other dogs and loves to play chase at the Dog park. Charlie's foster says he is lovable, loyal and smart. He would do well to have an obedience class as he likes to learn and is very anxious to please. He is a happy dog and does not have an alpha personality. He loves his daily walks and walks well on a leash. Charlie is housebroken and does not chew things when left alone.
